The Mason County Chamber of Commerce has current information on attractions and events.

Mason County Apple Fest will be held on Saturday, September 4th 2010. Yes, we are putting together plans for the first apple festival in Mason. In addition to the Apple Blossom Princess Contest there will be demonstrations, displays, other contests and lots to eat.

The Mason County Chamber of Commerce has two booklets that give a lot of information on what to see while you are in Mason. The Post Hill Driving Tour ends at the site of Fort Mason , established in1851, which was commanded by General Robert E. Lee immediately prior to the Civil War. The Walking Tour of the Historic Courthouse Square shares history of the town.
